DeNovo V100 Bass The new solid-bodied Violin bass is named from the Latin expression “De Novo” meaning “from the beginning,” “afresh,” or “anew.” It is fitting for the name of our first model because we are taking every aspect of the design and redefining it. After over 50 years of Stratocasters™, it's time for a new look! The V100 has a 8” x 14” x 1.5” body, 34” string length, 1.5” nut width, and 13 mm string spacing. Versions are available in lace wood or hard maple tops with mahogany or maple necks. Bridges and tailpieces can be either maple, ebony, or anodized aluminum.
