Our Design
KatCreek Guitars has created something you can’t find elsewhere: a small-bodied electric bass with a dead sexy look. How do we do it? The look and shape of a standard electric guitar, bass or six string, is defined by the requirement for the guitar to be balanced while playing in the upright position. No one wants to hold up the neck (what is commonly termed neck-dive). The hands need to be free to move up and down the fretboard with ease. The classic Fender Stratocaster™ design was driven by the need to have an upper horn extend over the 12th fret. The shoulder strap location balances the guitar.

image image image There have been many balancing acts in the past to make smaller instruments. Yet all of these attempts leave the guitar looking a little wonky. Our design gives the balance you need without the audience noticing anything different (except for the great new look of the guitar). This patented device enables perfect balance for a smaller-bodied instrument. KatCreek Guitars is the only manufacturer that can design and produce any style we (or you) choose and still provide for excellent playability and comfort.
