About Us KatCreek Guitars is owned and operated by electric bassist Kathy Creek, who has turned her vision into a new style of guitar. While outside the norm and maybe difficult to believe, this woman is actually making the guitars. All of the designs are her company’s unique creations.    I was motivated to make a smaller bodied bass by my own needs and desires. I found it difficult to find a instrument that suited me. I bought the smallest bass I could find that had the most style. Yet, even the most stylized bass on the market was still too heavy and bulky. I wanted something that suited me, something unique, far away from the traditional designs. There have been many attempts in the past to make smaller instruments. KatCreek Guitars focuses on the guitarist that needs an instrument that is lighter and more ergonomically designed which allows for even longer hours of your playing enjoyment. The company is operated in New Mexico and was founded in 2009. |
